Dear Anup,
At first, you have to confirm that, whether your visa has been cancelled or not, by your sponsor. You can do this, by making inquiries with the Ministry of Naturalization and Residence of Dubai or any other emirates, producing old passport copy, through any friends in UAE.
If the visa is not been cancelled, should ask your sponsor (old) to cancel.
Remember the following,
1- The visa will not be cancelled automatically after 180 days, but the holder will be blocked to enter UAE.
2- The new visa will be issued by Ministry of Labour, only after completing 1 year from the date of cancellation.
3- Sponsor/Company is the only authoity to cancel the visa.

| Dear Friends, Any Body please help me, I came from Dubai on Emergency Leave on August 2008 and i was not able go back due to an accident and my passport was also damaged. but i received new passport from the Passport office. Now i am Fine and i want to go back to UAE. How can i cancel my present Visa. My Visa expires on June 2010. I need u people's advice, what i have to do to get a new visa.
