YOUR KNOWLEDGE ABOUT CHRISTIANITY IS ZERO. PLEASE STOP THIS LAYMAN'S JOB. HOW MANY NUNS YOU HAVE INTERVIEWED AND GOT THE REPORT TO ASSUME TO YOUR OPINION? PRODUCE THE LIST OF PERSONS AND THEIR DETAILS...CHRISTIANITY IS A MINORITY OF 1.5% OF INDIAN POPULATION. EVEN IF THERE ARE 10,000 NUNS IN INDIA, THERE ARE MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF BEGGARS IN INDIA. GO AND TRY TO FIND SHELTER AND FOOD FOR THEM FIRST.

Dowry is a big problem among Kerala Christians and if more than one daughter is born, the parents decide to "get rid" of the daughters to Nunnery and this has been going on since several generations.
 
The proposal now given is the stipulation of minimum age as 18 years by which time the girl is supposed to have attained maturity to take decisions on her future like marriage..etc. If she chooses to be a nun, she should have attained this age.
 
This would also prevent children from the Convents, brainwashed by the Bible Classes to be lured into Christian faith and also to be nuns at tender ages of even 10 or so, literally abducted and taken to the nunneries like the one at Palai where even Police cannot enter and investigate.
 
Many Hindu girls,  Brahmin/ Namboodiri girls have been abducted so in the past and Police complaints were of no avail. Once inside the nunnery, the girls do not have any chance to escape.

women who really don't want to be a Nun , But due to her
