Dear Panikkar, a few mistakes in your mail are worth mentioning for yours as well as others' understanding. (highlighted in red)
Thanks. Earlier also I was criticised by some body and also was supported by many others when I have sent a similar mail earlier. (use of 'earlier' twice is awkward. 'have' is not required or 'had' is acceptable)
But I find that the standard of English in Kerala schools and colleges has gone down pathetically. (if you mean 'Kerala' is a name of institution, its fine. otherwise, 'schools and colleges in Kerala' should be used)
Most of our present day writers in English are educated out side Kerala. (use 'were')
But it is not the education that you get in school or colleges only matters.( use 'from' instead of 'in'. replace 'only' with 'that'. still poorly phrased sentence)
VPMenon who became governor of Orissa and author of the beautiful book "Integration of Indian states" hardly had any good schooling. ( use 'the governor'. 'beautiful book'????? what you mean?.. ok. but replace 'had' with 'got')
Same is about Basheer or K.T.Muhammad (use 'and'. still doesnt look nice)
Even the short story writer Gauthaman(Menon) is not a graduate I think ( mention of caste is welcomed, but you cannot think a person as graduate or otherwise. better use 'to my knowledge' or 'as per my knowledge')
So what all we try to learn ourselves is also matters a lot in life than what we learn in our schools or colleges. ( 'all' 'is also' may be omitted to make it correct)
Due to the number of mails in this group I do not read most of the mails also. ( I guess you read mails from your inbox. in that case you can use 'mails form this group'. and what number do you mean??? 'large number of mails'?? 'also' at the end doesnt make any meaning.)
Only Malayalam weekly I read is Bhashaposhini now a days.. ( start with 'the only....' . 'now a days' may be placed before 'bhasaposhini')
Generally I do not react, to small mistakes are made by my fellow members ( use 'small mistakes that are made')
apart from these, all the sentences in your mail are poorly phrased and doesn't look like english at all.
Please go for english tution very urgently.
Friends, this is just mockery (in the line of idea star singer judges) and I hope Mr. Panikkar would enjoy it.
In I opinion, before mail of REGI KOTHAMANGALAM is perfect fine to all understand his wanting of deails. no problem is grammar but understand is the more important.

(We did have O.V Vijayan , DrAyyappa Paniker etc). DrPaniker was from a village school of Kavalam and Pulinkunoo (Kuttanad) and did his post graduation from Farook college. But Kamala Surayya ,Tharoor etc were educated outside Kerala.The great man Sardar K.MPanikkar after his education in Thalavady school and Kottayam CMSCollege went to Oxford for further education. But it is not the education that you get in school or colleges only matters.

So what all we try to learn ourselves is also matters a lot in life than what we learn in our schools or colleges.
